'Draw Me In'- Working with Eastbourne Towner
These are the beautiful ceramics made by Year 3 and teachers.
The project was funded by the contemporary art gallery, Towner Eastbourne. The lessons were led by specialist local ceramicist, Claire Shoosmith. The children's work was inspired by the 1969 piece 'Totem', by woman artist Bernice Sydney, who has artworks in the Towner.
The children's artwork was exhibited at the Towner from 5th April to 6th June 2019. They are now installed on the school field as the starting point of the 'Tollgate Art Trail'.
